Throne & Liberty doesn't have a release window of any sort just yet but it is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Still, if you're someone who has been looking for a new MMO to sink dozens of hours into, Throne & Liberty has the potential to be quite unique in the midst of a growing competitive landscape. There are a lot of solid ideas to be found within this MMO, but my own time playing the game was so brief that I feel like I still don't have a full understanding of what it will have in store.
It's still hard for me to know what to think about Throne & Liberty moving forward. As a whole, I'm not against Amitoi being implemented in Throne & Liberty, but I think there is definitely a way for them to fit more cohesively in the game. It's worth noting that I was only able to get a look at one specific Amitoi in my own demo, so I'm not sure if the litany of others that will be found in TL will be as tonally distinct. An original score composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz adds yet another dimension to the atmosphere of this adventure.Compared to the predominant dark fantasy art style that Throne & Liberty primarily boasts, the Amitoi are chibi-style in nature and don't mesh all that well with everything else found in the world. Through these various elements, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales weaves together an engrossing tale full of surprises that no fan of Witcher should miss! Along with that, there are 20 hand-crafted levels with puzzles and minigames to complete while exploring richly detailed 3D environments. Players can expect to find an immersive story with meaningful decisions to make, diverse quests to complete and challenging battles with deep strategic layers. An original score composed by Marcin Przybyłowicz adds yet another dimension to the atmosphere of this adventure.
